Hello beautifuls,

Here’s my second tutorial (as promised). I was inspired by Nivea’s new video “Love Hurts.” It’s just a really dark smoked out eye with a bright pink lip. This look is easy to do and very pretty. I love the contrast between the dark black eye and the bright pink lip. It’s a mixture of rockstar and barbie. I really like this look and hopefully you will too! Please RATE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE!!!!! Hello Beautifuls,

Okay so I spend so much time on YouTube watching tutorials, reviews, hauls and anything else you can imagine having to do with the make-up industry. I’ve learned a lot of valuable stuff and became really inspired to create my own channel. Even though I’m busy with school, I want to make tutorials and do reviews and hauls and hopefully someday soon become as successful as Michelle Phan. In the meantime I want to help those girls who were like me when I first got into make-up, network and get my name out there. Showing people my skills will also create the ability to receive feedback. I’m all about progressing so constructive criticism is a friend of mines. Back to Michelle Phan because you might not know who I’m talking about. She is YouTube’s #1 make-up guru; she just recently became the head make-up artist for LANCOME!!!! She said that she applied there a long time ago when she was just getting started and even though the interview went well, she didn’t get the job, but years later look at her, now she works in the big leagues not just at a counter in Macy’s (no offense to those that do). She was the first guru I started watching and until this day I still lover her work. Michelle Phan is the make-up artist that gave me the most inspiration to do this. Her story proclaims the statement “practice makes perfect” and “never give up because anything can happen if you set your mind to it.” I’m excited about doing this because I have a lot of great ideas that I want to share with the world. I just hope I am accepted in the guru world. I am just beginning and have a lot of learning to do so bare with me. I hope to soon get a new camera because mines isn’t the best for videos but I’m not going to let that stop me, I’ve put this off for too long. I’m asking for your support, so please watch the videos RATE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE!!!!! If you have any ideas or request or just comments on what I can do better please feel free to leave it in a comment or send me a personal message..  I really hope this goes well so wish me luck loves =]

I WILL GET BACK TO YOU ON MY CHANNEL LINK BECAUSE I’VE DECIDED TO JUST CREATE A NEW ONE THAT SOUNDS MORE MAKE-UPey

Here’s a link to Michelle Phan’s TY channel http://www.youtube.com/user/MichellePhan go check her out she is AMAZING!!

Thanks you =]

Double Rainbow Splendor

Hello beautifuls,

I was in the beauty supply store, where I always seem to find great products for very affordable prices, and I came across this palette that contained 10 eye shadows and 2 blushes. Okay so what’s the big deal you might ask? Well, it was ONLY $1.99!!! I was unfamiliar with the brand but for two dollars I was willing to take the risk of trying it out. This e/s and blush palette is by a company called KLEANCOLOR and the specific palette I got was called Double Rainbow Splendor. The shadows are all metallic/shimmer and are extremely pigmented! After using this palette I was so impressed and I suggest every one go out and get one of these palettes. Especially if you are new to make-up and using bright colors, this palette is something you should start off with because it has a nice variety of colors and like I said it is EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!

They do have a website with tons of cool stuff including palettes, however, on the website the palettes are $3.99, I got mines for $1.99 at the beauty supply store so check around before you order it from the website.

The website- http://www.kleancolor.com

If you aren’t sure where to find a beauty supply store, simply type in Google “beauty supply store near [you area code]” and a list of stores located near you should pop up.

Here’s a look I did using the KLEANCOLOR palette;

I hope this was helpful, feel free to rate and leave comments!

Hello beautifuls,

It’s 1:47 am and I’m so bored so I decided to make a new post. I’ve bought a few things since my last review and the most exciting is my new brush set that I got off Ebay. It has 20pcs and it comes in a brush roll. It was under $20 (including shipping) , it ships from the United Kingdom so it took about 7 days. Now to the review, at first I didn’t like it. I know I only paid about $15 but it just seemed TOO CHEAP, but after I actually used it, I FELL IN LOVE with it! The large eyeshadow is my absolute favorite! It applies so much color and it’s big enough to apply a lot of color to a big area in one swipe. This brush works better than any other eyeshadow brush I’ve tried (even better than Sonia Kashuk). I haven’t tried all of the brushes but for the most part I think it was a good deal. It comes in a brush roll that’s made out of some cheap plastic leather type material that smelled HORRIBLE. I don’t know what the smell was but it was really strong. It almost smelled like the material had just got done being made so it still smelt like… cheap plastic?? I don’t know, it was really strong but now I can’t really smell it unless I put it up to my nose so either the smell went away, or I just got used to it. Any who, I highly recommend these brushes to someone who is looking for a variety of good quality brushes but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg. I do plan on getting a set of Sigma or even MAC brushes before my life is over but until then, these will do just fine!

I really hope this post was helpful, until next time..

Hello beautifuls,

Happy Thursday everyone! I was recently introduced to The Make-up Show. They have them every year; one in New York City and one in Los Angeles. At The Make-up Show, the biggest cosmetic brands, top industry exhibitors and speakers from all sides of make-up get together and host this event. It lasts for two days and while you are there, you are able to purchase products, get a chance to see new collections, participate in workshops, and most importantly network! Tickets in advance for one day are $50 and for both days are $75. Unfortunately, this event is only for professionals meaning you must have a license in make-up or cosmetology, proof to show you are enrolled in a beauty school, or own your own make-up business. Since I am just started I don’t have either of these credentials but, I’m not giving up yet! The Make-up Show NYC takes place May 16-17 so I have until then to try to find a way to go because I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go! So wish me luck and if you are a professional, then go check it out!

Just to name a few exhibitors that will be there;

Alcone Company

Crown Brushes

Eye Kandy

Mac Cosmetics

Make Up For Ever

Naked Cosmetics

Shu Uemura

Smashbox

Temptu

Yaby Cosmetics
